It’s the end of Carmageddon—and we couldn’t be happier at the Corona campus of Salon Success Academy!

Route 91 has reopened and will benefit not only drivers, but residents and businesses like Salon Success Academy. Locals and news outlets called the 91 Project Carmageddon. Why? Constant construction caused crazy traffic jams, accidents, and more. It had a negative impact on every resident, driver, and business in its path: including our students trying to make it to the Corona campus.

The route expansion boasts two new express lanes and other improvements on the west and eastbound sides of the freeway, as well as one additional general purpose lane on both sides. The construction extends the express lane 10 miles. These improvements are expected to save time, improve safety, reduce pollution, and help move goods more efficiently along our busy highways. What makes the expansion even better is that the northbound express lane ends right where Salon Success Academy’s Corona school off ramp is—making your commute as easy as possible. Location. Location. Location!

“It was kind of a nightmare, dealing with constant traffic during all this construction,” says Salon Success VP of Operations Jeff Gross. “It added too much time to our students’ commutes, and for many of them, it meant they just couldn’t make it to campus. We’re breathing a great big sigh of relief and happy that things are back to normal—even better!”
